This class offers a unique opportunity for dedicated young dancers to deepen their training, develop performance confidence, and experience the exciting world of competitions in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Please note: Students enrolled in this class must have the intention of competing. This class is designed specifically for those wishing to take part in ballet competitions throughout the year.

Booking Information

Please ensure that you wish to book this class before registering, as:

Class bookings are strictly non-transferable and non-refundable, regardless of the reason — including a change of mind.

New for This Year: School Tracksuit

To align with other competitive schools, all competitive students will be required to wear the JK Ballet school tracksuit when travelling to and from competitions.

This helps foster a sense of team identity and professionalism, and ensures our dancers are presented consistently as proud representatives of the school.

Further information on ordering the tracksuit will be provided upon enrolment.

Class Independence Requirements

This is a ‘drop and go’ class, and as such:

-Children must be confident attending without a parent or guardian
-Children must be able to use the toilet independently, in accordance with our child protection policies
-Strictly no exceptions can be made regarding adult attendance
This ensures consistency and emotional safety for all students. At JK Ballet, we care for your child as if they were our own, and every effort is made to help them feel secure, supported, and seen.

Uniform Information

Students are required to wear the updated A.B.D. uniform after their trial class onwards, available from our in-house shop:

The current uniform for the Competitive Ballet Class is the same as our graded ballet classes, allowing consistency across training levels.
This uniform arrangement will be kept under review as the competitive programme develops.
Please note that old-style A.B.D. leotards and skirts have now been discontinued.
Our staff are happy to assist with sizing and selecting the correct uniform items.

Competitive Ballet Class Registration

There is no registration fee for this supplementary class as it is additional to a timetabled graded class.
