This class is suitable for children studying the Associated Board of Dance Preparatory, Primary, or Grade 1 Foundation syllabus.

It provides an encouraging and structured environment where young dancers can flourish—building strong technique, confidence, and a lasting love for ballet.

She will be happy to advise which class is most appropriate for your child based on age, experience, and ability. New members are welcome to book for our 2025/6 dance season from Tuesday 1st July.

Class Independence Requirements:

This is a ‘drop and go’ class, meaning children must be:

-Comfortable attending without a parent or guardian
-Confident in using the toilet independently (in line with child protection policies)
-Strictly no exceptions can be made regarding adult attendance in the studio.Having one parent present can cause confusion or upset for other children whose parents are not in the room. To ensure a calm, safe, and consistent experience for all students, we kindly ask that all children in this class attend independently.

Uniform:

After your child’s trial class, a regulation uniform is required.

At Grade 1 Foundation level, there is a change of uniform to a separate leotard and skirt.

Booking & School Policies:

Please ensure you book the correct session time. All bookings are strictly non-transferable and non-refundable, regardless of reason.

Fees & Registration:

-The 2025/2026 registration price includes a £15 yearly registration fee.
-If your child is enrolled in both Irish Dancing and Ballet, please note these are two separate schools, and a separate registration fee applies to each.
-If you registered during May or June 2025 and paid the previous £10 fee, we are happy to honour that. A £5 balance will be due to align with the updated £15 fee.

-Anyone entitled to this £5 balance will receive a text message confirming this once registration is processed. If you do not receive a message, the full £15 fee is payable.

Partial payments will be processed during office hours. As Miss Judith personally handles all admin, we thank you for your patience.

Founded in 2015 by Ballet School Principal Judith Keyes, JK Ballet is a place where students form friendships, develop a passion for dance, and grow emotionally and artistically.

We offer seamless progression from walking age to pre-professional level — a one-stop destination for dancers of all ages and abilities.

Classical Ballet is taught through the Associated Board of Dance Syllabus, with a proud 100% pass rate, including our latest Summer 2024 exam session.
