Developing technique, artistry, performance quality, and examination success through classical ballet

Our Grade 5–6 Ballet classes provide structured, progressive training for students who are ready to further develop their classical ballet technique and artistic performance skills.

Following the Associated Board of Dance (A.B.D.) syllabus, students build strength, artistry, musicality, technical understanding, and performance quality while developing the confidence, discipline, resilience, and commitment required to progress through higher graded examinations, performances, competitions, and future training opportunities.

As students progress towards Grade 6 level, training becomes increasingly focused on technical refinement, artistry, examination preparation, performance quality, and readiness for future vocational and pointe work pathways.

Students and families should be aware that pointe work forms part of the Associated Board of Dance Grade 6 examination requirements and may form part of a dancer's progression where appropriate.

These classes provide a supportive yet ambitious environment where students are encouraged to work towards their individual potential, celebrate their achievements, and develop a lifelong appreciation for dance.

With regular attendance and commitment, students gain not only technical excellence but also valuable life skills including self-discipline, perseverance, leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and confidence-qualities that benefit them both inside and outside the dance studio.

With regular attendance and commitment, students continue to build confidence, discipline, resilience, and performance skills while progressing through the higher graded syllabus.

Students benefit from training within an ambitious and supportive environment that has seen dancers achieve success at national and international level, including selection for the UK Young Dancer Top 100 and representation at the Dance World Cup Finals as part of Team NI.

Every class is taught by qualified, experienced teachers who are passionate about helping students achieve their individual goals, whether they dance for enjoyment, examinations, performances, competitions, or future vocational training.
