A joyful first step into the world of dance.

Our Baby Ballet programme offers a beautiful and engaging introduction to ballet for young children. Led by experienced and passionate teachers, classes are designed to inspire a love of movement, music, imagination, and creativity in a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.

With regular attendance, children develop not only their dancing skills but also their confidence, independence, and social abilities. Baby Ballet is much more than a dance class - it provides a strong foundation for physical, emotional, and social development.

What Baby Ballet Develops

-Strength and stamina
-Coordination and flexibility
-Musicality and vocabulary development
-Listening skills and discipline
-Confidence and independence
-Friendship and social interaction

Why Choose Baby Ballet?

Our Baby Ballet classes are carefully designed to introduce children to dance in a way that is fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate. Through imaginative movement, music, and storytelling, children build confidence, coordination, and social skills while developing a lifelong love of dance.

Every class is taught by qualified, experienced teachers who understand the importance of creating a positive first dance experience for every child.

Who Is It For?

Baby Ballet is suitable for children from walking age up to pre-school age.

This is a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to enjoy quality time together while introducing little ones to the joy of dance.

Classes are parent-led, meaning a parent or guardian actively participates throughout the session. This provides children with a strong sense of security and support, helping them gain confidence as they take their first steps into the world of dance.

New to Dance?

No previous dance experience is required.

Don't worry if your child has never attended a dance class before. Baby Ballet is specifically designed for beginners, and every child is encouraged to participate at their own pace.

Our friendly teachers understand that young children may need time to settle, and we work closely with parents to ensure every child feels comfortable, confident, and included.

What Happens in a Baby Ballet Class?

Each class includes a mixture of:

-Creative movement and imaginative play
-Basic ballet steps and technique
-Music and rhythm activities
-Balance and coordination exercises
-Props and themed activities
-Circle time and social interaction

Classes are carefully structured to keep young children engaged while developing key physical and social skills.

Important Information

Adult Participation

We operate a strict one adult to one child ratio in all Baby Ballet classes.

Trial Classes

Children may attend a one-off trial class for £9.50.

Trial classes must be booked through our website. Please note that trial bookings are non-transferable and cannot be changed once booked, so please ensure you select the correct date and time.

Babies in Class

Babies aged six months and under may accompany a parent in a carrier for feeding purposes only. No other children other than the participating child are permitted to accompany.

Uniform

Children may attend their trial class in comfortable clothing suitable for movement.

Following your trial class, a regulation uniform is required for all subsequent classes. Wearing the correct uniform helps children feel part of the school community, promotes discipline, and allows teachers to assess posture and alignment effectively.

Uniforms can be purchased directly through our online shop:

Students also have opportunities to participate in recitals, performances, social events, and other exciting experiences throughout the year.
