High-Performance Training for Dedicated Competitive Dancers

Advanced Irish Dancing is an exclusive supplementary class designed for committed dancers competing at Preliminary Championship level in all dances and above who wish to maximise their competitive potential.

This class provides additional high-level coaching in technique, musicality, stamina, presentation, performance quality, championship preparation, and advanced choreography alongside each dancer's regular weekly Irish dancing training.

This class is supplementary and does not replace your child's regular Irish Dancing class or Heavy Work class. Students are expected to continue attending both, as each class develops different aspects of their overall training and is essential for continued progression.

The Advanced Class provides additional individual coaching, technical refinement, and performance development in a focused, supportive, and challenging environment, helping dancers achieve their highest potential.

Who Is This Class For?

This class is suitable for dancers:

Competing at Preliminary Championship level in all dances and above
Who have been invited into the Advanced Class by Miss Judith

Who demonstrate the commitment, attendance, and work ethic required for advanced competitive training

Progression

This supplementary class is designed to complement, not replace, your child's regular weekly Irish Dancing and Heavy Work classes.

Class Placement

Advanced Irish Dancing is an invitation and assessment-based class.
Placement is determined by Miss Judith and is based on competitive standard, technical ability, commitment, attendance, and readiness to train at advanced level.

Students enrolled in this class are expected to continue attending their allocated Irish Dancing class and Heavy Work class, as determined by the teaching team.

Class Independence Requirements

This is a fully independent "drop and go" class.

Students must:

Attend independently without a parent or guardian
Be fully independent in accordance with our child protection policies
Parents and guardians are not permitted to remain in the studio during class.

At JK Irish Dance, we care for every dancer as if they were our own. Their wellbeing, safety, and development remain at the heart of everything we do.

Uniform

Students are expected to attend every class wearing the correct regulation JK Irish Dance uniform.

Uniform includes:

-JK Irish Dance T-shirt
-Appropriate Irish dancing footwear as advised by the teaching team

Fees & Registration

As this is a supplementary class taken alongside your child's regular Irish Dancing training, no annual registration fee has been applied to the class price.
