This class is suitable for complete beginners and also those children who are still at the formative stages of their Irish Dancing journey.

We are a Festival Irish Dancing School and as such children do not wear wigs. Makeup and fake tan on young children is not permitted.

The majority of children compete regularly at competitions throughout Northern Ireland, however competitive dancing is optional and children may participate for fun, fitness and friendship.

The following points are prerequisites at this level:
-Child must be comfortable in being left at class without a parent/guardian
-Child must be confident at being able to go to the toilet without intervention of an adult (in-keeping with child protection policies).

Please note that this class is a fully independent class i.e. the child must be comfortable in staying at class without a parent. The class is 'drop & go' - strictly no exceptions.

Once you have registered, if not already known to the school we will get in touch with you to confirm that your child meets the prerequisites. If they do not meet these, unfortunately they must wait until they do to attend.

Past the trial period you must purchase a pair of black canvas festival pumps - these can be purchased directly from the school.
